Make Your Memory

The Modern Crafters Guide To Beautiful Scrapbook Layouts, Cards, And Mini Albums

Paige Evans

Better Day Books

Bright, bold, with links to templates, this is a craft companion for all ages.

I love the publishing name don’t you? Immediately I assume that the books content will be positive, hopeful and signal wellbeing, so the book in itself is off to a good start, simply due to the publishing name.

About the author

Paige is well known in her scrapbook field, I took time to delve into her website, where we get to see more of her work, including the paces she visits - all craft focused. USA based, the clean living, stay at home ‘mom’….a perfect looking life. I also appreciated her look - often craft of this sort can get a bad name, seen as a hobby for those over a certain age. But she is pledging it at a market we can all tap into - good for her!

Book’s Content

This book is full scrapbook layouts, card making projects, all the typical cut out and play concepts. It is ideal for those who are new or nervous to start a project - this book could give you confidence to then style and curate your own projects.

Thematically the book’s focus is memory, we all have them, we all wonder how to store them. So here is an option.

I liked how the book gives examples of how photographs which are our own personal ones can be housed, for example from page 105 on ‘stars’.

No, this book is not one I would have first purchased, but I do think it is a very good offering for its’ genre.
